Cookie Policy

paithra.com sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It stores one theme preference in your browser's local storage. Signing in to the client dashboard sets a Clerk session cookie, and Razorpay's checkout sets its own cookies while you pay — Paithra does not control either.
This page is a starting draft, written to match how Paithra actually operates. It is not legal advice, and a lawyer should review it before it governs a live account.
Who sets these
Paithra is a product of Pruning Labs, headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Registered address: [TODO: registered address]. Corporate Identification Number (CIN): [TODO: CIN].
What paithra.com sets itself
The only thing the marketing site stores in your browser is a single local-storage key, maya_theme, which remembers whether you last chose light or dark mode. It is never sent to a server, carries no identifying information, and is not a cookie. The marketing site sets no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies.
Cookies set by Clerk
Signing in to the client dashboard or the admin console sets session cookies managed by Clerk, our authentication provider, so you stay signed in between visits. These are functional, not advertising, cookies, and are only set once you sign in.
Cookies set during checkout
When you buy a credit pack or a plan, Razorpay’s checkout window sets its own cookies to process the payment and detect fraud. These are set and controlled by Razorpay, not by Paithra, for the duration of the checkout.
Managing or clearing these
You can clear the theme preference at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for paithra.com; the page will simply fall back to your system preference. Clearing Clerk’s session cookie will sign you out of the dashboard.
